Cinderella Hair Extensions was struggling attract new hair stylist and decided to hire an outside marketing firm to help bring in new customers. The new creative director with ownership approval made the decision to rebrand Cinderella Hair Extensions.

With the marketing firm in place, I was able to focus my energy on creative design and production. Using the new brand guide, I redesigned the packaging for the hair extensions to reflect the identity of the company. I did some image editing for the new model photos that were chosen to correspond with the different types of hair extension methods. When laying out the design I made sure to account for a section where our vendor in China to add a small label to identify the various color and lengths.
Labels and Silk Screening
I took over the California Mango packaging project from another designer to complete the layout. I finished back portion, added 3 languages, choose Pantone colors, and created barcodes. After the package designs were complete, I formatted the layout to fit all our various sizes of tubes and bottles.
Box and Package Design
I was provided with a sample box by a manufacturing entity located in China. Thereafter, I proceeded to conduct measurements and generated a corresponding template, which was utilized to create a comprehensive layout for the box design. Subsequently, I generated detailed diagrams for the step-by-step processes involved in the box assembly. Upon completion of the layout, I produced a print file, which was transmitted to our manufacturer in China.
​California Mango wanted to enhance the visual appeal of their new travel kit bag by incorporating a distinctive box design. Our marketing team worked with a print company to come up with a unique box and provided me with a die line so I could create the layout. Once I finished the design, I made sure everything was good to go for print production and reviewed all the necessary proofs. I stayed in touch with the print company until production was completed, and we received the full order.
